Merman Diving and Marine Services are an HSE registered Diving company supplying waterbourne services to the Film and Television industry.

Established in 2009 by John Bracewell, the company now provides numerous services encompassed by production teams who are required to film near, on or under water. A comprehensive portfolio has allowed us to expand and provide a complete service from pre-assessment and environment inspection through to filming on, in and under water using numerous industry standard cameras and equipment allowing the production workflow to remain uniform.

Water safety has also become a large part of our portfolio which comprises of environmental assessments and testing as well as safety provision both on, in and underwater using our fully HSE approved diving team.

We have a team of ex police officers which allows us to offer realistic in water provision of a lifelike police diving team including all props and equipment usually used by the Police Underwater Search Units in the UK.

Having the ex police officers on the team also allows us to provide a police consultancy service for aquatic and non aquatic film and television shoots to help you achieve those realistic production values

Medic provision is also available through Merman Diving and our team of expert medics can assist you in providing the necessary provision to cover you set requirements.
